2024-08-08

PT Networks Indonesia participated in the "Korea - Indonesia Technical Exchange Seminar" held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).

At this seminar, PT Networks Indonesia was present as a partner of Metabuild, one of the exhibitors at the event. The seminar served as a crucial platform for the exchange of technology and knowledge between Korea and Indonesia, with the goal of strengthening technical cooperation between the two countries.

Metabuild, the partner of PT Networks Indonesia, showcased various solutions with three core pillars: AI Data, Connecting Middleware, and Digital Twin. Metabuild offers innovative solutions designed to address the complexities of the modern world. The company understands the importance of intelligent data, seamless connectivity, and accurate digital representation to support businesses in making precise and efficient decisions.

Metabuild's main products include the Traffic Digital Twin, an advanced traffic control platform that stores and manages traffic data. This system analyzes real-time traffic data collected through sensors such as radar and CCTV installed on the road, transforming actual traffic conditions into a virtual digital twin. The system can detect abnormal road situations more accurately than CCTV, making it effective for immediate responses, improving effectiveness, and reducing incidents such as criminal activities and accidents caused by speeding, reversing vehicles, stopped vehicles, and pedestrians on highways. Metabuild has installed 800 radars in Seongnam City, South Korea, and consistently collaborates with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, Korea Expressway Corporation, and other key stakeholders.

The event was enriched by contributions from important figures, including Rachman Arief Dienaputra, Director General of Highways; Yeo Yungkoo, Chief Advisor (Former Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport - MOLIT) of Korea; representatives from the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT); the Director of Road Construction; and many other distinguished guests. The presence of these notable individuals provided valuable insights and fostered discussions on best practices and cutting-edge technologies that can be applied in the development sector in Indonesia.

PT Networks Indonesia believes that participation in this seminar will positively contribute to the advancement of the technical sector and strengthen the relationship with their partner, Metabuild. The event is expected to further advance the development sector and provide significant benefits to all participants.
